In Memoriam DJs

Remembering Clive Horne aka DJ easy beat: A True DJ and Cherished Friend.

I had recently spoken to Clive to ask him if he wanted a show on impact and he snapped my hand off saying YES (I’m dusting my equipment off now for you sy) so I left him with it for a week to give him time to set things up, I then messaged him back to check on him and he couldn’t apologise enough saying I’m sorry Simon my health has just got really bad and he needed time to focus on that, so I said no problem at all m8 and there’s a slot here for you always, I didn’t know at the time that this would be the last we spoke.
He sadly is no longer with us, Clive will be remembered for that smile that filled the room and his cheeky 1 liners that made us all laugh. there will never be another like him, he was truly one of a kind,
he worked on Vision FM 95.1 in Braunstone Leicester and was a crucial cog in the workings of the station,  he was loved by soo many people and will be sadly missed. fly high Clive R.I.P my good friend

Steve Hanley AKA Steve Antonio

AKA Selecta S

DJ Steve Antonio R.I.P. 1975 – 2006. A friend, A wicked DJ & A TRUE Gentleman. You will be Missed!

Steve always had time to give budding DJ’s help & advise.
His knowlegde of music was vast & anyone who ever met him never had a bad word to say about him, nor did he about anyone.

He was one of the best all round DJ’s on the scene & was one of the first Black club DJ’s to play Bhangra.
Before the Days Of PMC, he always used to spin Malkit’s Singhs Mitthe Ganne on vinyl in clubs and was always asking me for more vinyl’s like that.
